Breakouts for Nov 8th The first pick BFLY featured as a breakout on Oct 20th, reaching its target for a 25% gain. The stock has made a secondary breakout from a cup-and-handle pattern for a potential move to 52-week highs resistance. Today's news came in the absence of stock specific news, although the company did announce an increase of sales on Oct 26th. The stock has very strong technicals, it's MACD in particular. The second pick DDS, gained on boost in real estate valuation of Sear's stores. The stock broke resistance and looks good to challenge it's 52-week high of $24.98 and push to a price target of $39.84 based on point-n-figure chart projections. The stock's MACD is working through a base and has yet to follow price to new highs, but the trigger line did close above the bullish zero line. It should be possible to get a fill on a pullback to $23.00. The third pick, SKO, experienced some interesting price action after the company reported a drop in sales. From a technical perspective the stock broke to new highs on heavy volume with continued upside likely in the absence of overbought conditions in slow stochastics, a rising MACD, and an on-balance-volume reading at new highs. GTC buy orders should be good for a fill in the purple box indicated.
