Breakouts for Nov 2nd: The first pick, WIRE, is a current Gold member pick for September 16th The stock followed its earlier feature with a strong advance which has consolidated into a small handle. This handle allows for an additional entry (new, or existing) and more importantly, a place to raise stops. Key overhead resistance at $27.00 should stall the run for a while and is a good place for short term traders to look to exit. I am looking for a test of $30 resistance as my price target which sits $2 above the point-n-figure target. A positive feature article appeared on Fool.com on October 25th. The second pick, MCHX, is another existing Gold member pick for June 13th. Since appearing on the list the stock veered into a sideways pattern from which it is only working its way out of now. Tuesday's action did rank as a triple top breakout on the point-n-figure chart with a price target of $23.50. The potential spanner in the works could be earnings on November 9th. Technically, Tuesday saw a resistance break in the MACD trigger line with a similar move likely in on-balance-volume. The third pick, ARP, is a relatively illiquid stock so patience may be required to build a position. Tuesday's move followed strong Q3 earnings, but a retracement back to $18 cannot be ruled out and would be a good place for GTC buy orders. As one of the years IPOs it has so far performed strongly; closing at new highs with no overhead resistance. Given the lack of data I have opted for a measured move price target - but this could go on a nice run from here. The stock carries a reasonable P/E (=12.78) compared to its competitors average (22.86).
