Breakouts for Nov 11th The first pick ABXA is a gold member play from Nov 9th. The stock completed a bullish ascending triangle, breaking two resistance levels on high volume. The breakout coincided with the release of earnings. The higher move in price was supported by breaks in MACD and on-balance-volume resistance. The second pick, DCEL, reported earnings last Thursday. The stock has since moved above 3 month resistance, closing today inside the large breakdown gap. The base breakout is supported by a turn in all three technical indicators in favor of a bullish position (as marked by the vertical green hashed line). Today's move may be a little extended to buying off the open, but GTC orders to $1.49 support are worth fishing for a fill. Note the prior bullish divergence in on-balance-volume and MACD. An excellent long term hold. The third pick, CMGI, is another base breakout play, but is too extended to be buying from tomorrow's open. However, recent buying volume has firmly switched momentum to the bulls - watch for an end-of-week close above the 20-day and 50-day exponential moving average. Keep this on a watch list and look for pullbacks for entry levels. It is unlikely the stock will drop much below $1.50 on one of these pullbacks. Excellent technical strength with breakouts in MACD and on-balance-volume. Today's move would have been helped by the Technical Indicator.
