Breakouts for Nov 10th The first pick BSTE released earnings in pre-market trading. The break of near term resistance continues a long term up trend. I have set a relatively ambitious price target but I would use psychological resistance at $60, $65 and $70 to watch for selling points (higher volume selling). Technicals favor long side positions - GTC orders down to $52.50 may be good for a fill over the coming days. The second pick, CCCG, has enjoyed some increased buying as prices congested into a bullish ascending triangle. Prices broke resistance on the highest turnover to date. Having said that, it is a thinly traded stock, so large positions may be difficult to sell once the run completes. The weekly chart shows a "V" base (or cup-without-a-handle), therefore the price target is based on the depth of the base projected forward. Lovely technical strength with new highs in on-balance-volume and a MACD trigger line break of resistance. Price resistance is the all time high (see point-n-figure charts). The third pick, CCI, gapped up on an earnings. Technically, on-balance-volume is at new highs, but the MACD trigger line has yet to break resistance, although a bullish crossover (and buy) were signaled. Full positions in the stock should not be taken until $17.10 resistance is broken. The price target is drawn from a forward base projection.
