Breakouts for Mar 14th: The first pick, DAVE, made a preliminary test of $13.50 resistance on Friday, closed below this price but above near term resistance of $12.47. The stock was featured in a Fool.com article last week, following the release of its earnings in early March. Supporting the move in price are resistance breaks in the three technical indicators, although each should be watched for potential bearish divergences once $13.50 resistance is breached. The point-n-figure chart shows a bullish triangle breakout, although the original price target of $11.75 has been met the follow through target for the triangle should be around $18.00. The second pick, BABY, featured on an intraday alert to gold members on Friday, but eased to close below resistance following some heavy buying. Friday's action extends the bullish flag which has formed off the $8.79 highs, but the bullish engulfing pattern should keep Monday's action in the bullish camp. Friday's action did complete an ascending triple top breakout with a price target of $18.25. Technicals also favor the bulls with new near term highs in the MACD trigger line and on-balance-volume. The third pick, RKTI, broke $3.00 resistance following two days of heavy volume buying. The last PR from the company was released on March 3rd, so it remains unclear as to what is the cause of the recent buying. GTC buy orders down to $3.05 is the best strategy to use to buy, or add to, a position. Technicals are showing reasonable strength. On-balance-volume is at new highs with a 'buy' MACD trigger line crossover. Slow stochastics continue to rise but are not yet overbought. The point-n-figure chart looks very strong with Friday's marked double top breakout with a bullish price objective of $7.88.
