Breakouts for Dec 29th: The first pick, BPTR, reached its initial price target set on Oct 11th. However, today's breakout counts as a continuation move which favors further upside. Nearest resistance lies at the 52-week high of $1.20, but a base projection for a target move is closer to $2.00. There was no company specific news to account for today's breakout. On-balance-volume broke resistance and the MACD trigger line is just shy of doing likewise. The second pick, KEYW, signaled a buy on the MACD trigger line as prices closed at new highs on heavy volume. There was no company specific news to account for the breakout. Slow stochastics are firmly overbought - signaling consistent bullish strength. Rising on-balance-volume marks accumulation. The third pick, JUPM, previously featured as breakouts on August 20th and August 26th. The latest move continues an uptrend started in late 2001. The company has strong Invetors Business Daily rankings which have featured strongly in the past. There is a new near term high in the MACD trigger line and a higher close in on-balance-volume. Slow stochastics continue to rise as they enter overbought conditions. The price target is based on the point-n-figure target.
