Breakouts for Aug 6th: Two of todays breakouts are volume moves from bases, one is a traditional breakout to new highs. KOSP. gained on high demand for its cholesterol drug. Todays gain of 20% is too extended to be buying, but adding on pullbacks to $32-33 would provide a better cost entry. There are three key resistance areas on the way up, the first of which is at $44.00. The second base move is UVN. The stock gained on positive earnings. Pullbacks below $32 should be bought with a small position taken at current prices. Resistance at $36.79 should be breached based on current demant before next resistance in the high $40s stalls the rally. The last pick, UNM, broke resistance in a traditional volume breakout to new highs. The stock gained on buoyant Q2 results. There is a slight bearish divergence in the MACD trigger line that should be watched should prices reverse over the next couple of days.
