Breakouts for Aug 24th: The first pick, HDWR, lept over $28.10 resistance on strong volume in the absence of stock related news. Buyers should look to buy near the sharp rising trendline, and place stops just outside of this line. A large bearish divergence remains in the MACD trigger line, marking a potential bull trap. The second pick, STST, made a solid breakout of a cup-and-handle formation. The stock is near an initial price objective of $29.95 based on the Aug03-May04 base breakout, so the current move is a continuation of this earlier breakout and may extend above $30 (to my suggested price target). Patient buyer should look to buy closer to $24.50 support using GTC buy orders as todays break is a little too extended to be buying off tomorrow's open. The third pick, TVIN, leapt to $5.00 resistance on a volume spike. The stock is on the verge of continuing a rally started from $0.06. GTC orders around $4.60 are best entry points here. There is no resistance beyond $5.00.
