Breakouts for August 14th: The first pick, KAI, was one of a limited group of Breakout stocks for Monday. The stock enjoyed a third day of relatively higher gains following the release of earnings on August 2nd. The break of $23.02 resisance (now support) was aided by new reaction highs in the MACD and a solid break of resistance in on-balance-volume. New reaction highs were also posted in slow stochastics. The stock remains on track to reach its point-n-figure target of $45.40 (but holds no price pattern). The best of a limited bunch. The second pick is no candidate. The third pick, is no candidate.

For those who prefer to set their own price targets the table opposite represents the frequency for a given % return (taken from maximum highs) assuming a fill at at the stated "Buy" price on the open (i.e. the prior days close). The return per trade from 5% risk is typical of what my subscribers can expect from their picks. The return per trade from 10% risk is what one can expect from my free stock picks. Returns will be higher on fills below my "Buy" price
