Breakouts for Aug 12th: Only two breakout candidates for tomorrow, one of which featured yesterday. The secondary breakout, MDPA, broke $1.16 resistance. Beyond $1.16 the next level of resistance is $3.00, so there is potential for a lengthy rally once the market completes its capitulation. The current breakout is too extended to be buying, but pullbacks to a $1.00 and $1.06 would be attractive entry points. Note the higher stop which should be used for all positions in this stock. The second pick, ONET, is a high risk penny stock that closed today above prior heavy resistance of $0.36. Further overhead resistance lurks at the 52-week high of $0.42, but beyond that the next level of resistance is around $1.74. The stock has spent the last 18 months trading between $0.13 and $0.36, so todays break should be considered significant. Pullbacks to $0.36 provide a better risk:reward ratio for buying. There was no news to account for today's move. No stock.
