Breakouts for April 20th: The first pick, TFSM, recently featured as a breakout for March 20th. The stock has enjoyed a steady uptrend with various volume breakouts along the way. Wednesday's move is part of a rally into the lead up to earnings scheduled for May 3rd. Resistance at $12.00 could be key as the stock continues an ascending triple top breakout from March 20th (which has exceeded the price target of $6.25). Technicals remain firm and both target and stop price have been raised from before. The trend is your friend. The second pick, NAVG, has also rallied in small measures, supported by a rising on-balance-volume trend. The bearish divergence in the MACD trigger line dominates the technicals with the recent loss of near term support in slow stochastics an additional concern. The point-n-figure chart remains unchanged although the price target of $49 has now been met. Look to whole number resistance as the advance continues. The third pick, PENN, is the third follow through breakout. The point-n-figure chart holds to a price target of $70 as part of a February 15th double top breakout. Technical strength comes in the form of overbought slow stochastics and a rising on-balance-volume line. The MACD trigger line remains in consolidation mode. Earnings are set for next Tuesday.
